The focus at Sarabah Estate Wines, from the beginning has been on quality, from the selection of varietal clones, to the pest and disease management. Winter soil testing and vine cell testing mean that we can prepare the ground for the next season, to maximize the plants ability to produce the flavours we are looking for. This combined with a comprehensive fertigation program allows us to deliver the best possible fruit to our wine maker Jon Heslop of Witches Falls. Jon’s exceptional ability as a wine maker ensures this attention to detail produces a premium selection of wines on offer at Sarabah Estate.

VERDELHO 2005
Verdelho is becoming a popular Queensland region wine. A great wine to enjoy on our hot summer days and nights with that signature Thai style seafood dish.
The predominance of pear, green apples, and tropical fruits, with just a hint of lime lead this Verdelho through the tastes of summer to a soft finish leaving you wanting more.

SAUVIGNON BLANC 2005
Our Sauvignon Blanc is very unique to the Granite Belt Region. It’s freshness lends itself to enjoying with an asian style fish and salad dish. The aroma of asparagus and grapefruit, combined with honeydew melon, lead onto the pallet a youthful burst of fruit flavours, moving through to a fresh acid finish.

OAK AGED CHARDONNAY 2005
This wine has been made with a lot of tender loving care, which shows on the palate. It was aged predominantly in French Oak for 18 months.
Rock Melon flavours on top of the Oak buttery flavour, give a smooth and well-rounded finish that you would expect from such a premium style wine.

PINOT NOIR 2004
Pinot Noir is a forgotten subtle red that I think you will agree is great for new red wine drinkers. We love this wine slightly chilled, as it is a perfect accompaniment to an afternoon cheese selection with friends.
Blackberry fruits with earthly tones, heightened by cloves gives this aged in oak, medium-bodied Pinot Noir, a long palate with subtle tannins and a lingering finish.

MERLOT 2004
Merlot will be Sarabah Estate’s signature wine, predominantly because it’s our favourite. This Merlot is a little heavier than most, so can be enjoyed with a great fillet steak smothered in pepper sauce.
Winter berries and green peppers enhanced with French oak, allow this perfectly smooth and balanced medium-full bodied Merlot, to reach it’s full potential.
